Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of First Baptist Church is Prayer. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. FBC members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as washing the church vehicles, to preparing the church bulletins.

 

 

Intercessory Prayer

First Baptist Church is thrilled to pray for our city, our government, our youth, deliverance, and God's kingdom around the world. Prayer moves the hand of God. FBC is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God's sovereignty. We believe that prayer is the foundation that the church is built upon.

 

 

Music & Drama

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music and drama ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Others are involved in the choir. Still others get involved in drama. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of First Baptist Church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

 

 

 

Media & Technology

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of First Baptist Church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. All of our Sunday Services are live streamed through our web site. We also maintain an active Facebook and Twitter feed for additional church communication.

 

 

First Baptist Angels Ministry

In order to give our children the best Bible teaching possible, FBC Angel’s ministry gives kids more opportunity for interaction and learning in a context and manner that may be better suited to their age and learning styles. This ministry keeps those children under the age of 12 engaged in the ministry here at FBC.

 

 

Y4C Teen Ministry (Youth 4 Christ)

Y4C is the First Baptist Church youth ministry. It is through Y4C that they learn how to develop a personal relationship with the Lord for themselves. Y4C equips and empowers our youth to be lights to a very dark world.
