Pastor Douglass Sloss is the Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church in East Chicago, Indiana. He has served as the leader of the congregation since 2012. Prior to moving to East Chicago; Pastor Sloss served as Senior Pastor at Lighthouse Community Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. Collectively he has pastored churches for over eighteen (18) years. Reverend Sloss serves on the Enterprise Development & Management Corporation Board of Directors. He is also a board member of the City of East Chicago’s Plan Commission and he is the Vice President of the Twin City Ministerial Alliance.
Pastor Sloss earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Andersonville Theological Seminary in Christian Education. He currently resides in East Chicago. Pastor
